Dogspeed

This is our adopted 1yr old sausage dog Bells. When she came to us she had very little confidence and was unpredictably aggressive and anxious due to what we believe was little social interaction, limited time in the outside world and had perhaps experienced some aggression or slight mishandling before she came to us. She peed in our home on floors and beds, didn’t respond to commands and barked and yapped at anybody and anything that dared to come close to her or us! Fast forward to now and she’s a relaxed and cuddly little sausage thanks to Shaun at Dogspeed and his team! In just eight 1-2-1 sessions of ‘Positive Reinforcement’ training and a mountain of turmeric chicken, Bells is toilet trained, comes when she’s called, sits and stays, goes to her bed and is now the confident, loving, joyful, playful little dog she was always meant to be. She no longer freaks out every time she hears the doorbell and if she can be bothered to move from her favourite sun spot, she greets our guests and visitors at the door with a wagging tail instead of a yap and growl. She enjoys the confidence leash training gave her and loves going on long walks across the rice fields. She is no longer fearful of other dogs whilst out and she’ll even chase and play. Although she has selective hearing and is incredibly stubborn at times - like most Dachshunds! Bells is becoming so good with commands that when out in safe and familiar places she rarely requires a leash. We think she is amazing and are so p

Arjun is one of the best pet trainers and behaviourists we’ve come across. He was extremely patient, not just with our pet but with us as well, especially since we were first time pet parents with no prior experience. I’ve never met anyone before who has a deeper understanding about dogs, specially aggressive and traumatised dogs, than Arjun, also known as Shaun. I’ve had the pleasure to learn from him for the last 5 months. The kennels are superb and the staff is loving and caring.
