Very disappointing experience. I have taken multiple of my cats to this veterinary hospital for treatment, and unfortunately, none of them survived. Most recently, I brought a small kitten to the hospital two days before his illness became serious. I expected a proper examination and early medical attention, but the doctor barely examined him and did not even properly handle or check the kitten. I was simply told that he was okay. The very next day, the kitten stopped eating, so I brought him back to the hospital. Again, I felt that the situation was not taken seriously. The only treatment given was an oral syrup, and there was no proper examination or urgent intervention. Sadly, my kitten died that same night. Losing a pet is extremely painful, especially when you believe that earlier and more careful medical attention could have made a difference. I am deeply disappointed with the lack of attention and care shown during my visits. I hope the hospital takes this feedback seriously and improves the way animals are examined, diagnosed, and treated.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Loveleen Vaz and the entire team at the Government Veterinary Hospital, Mapusa. My friend’s cat had been unable to urinate for almost four days. The condition became very serious, with severe abdominal bloating. Further tests showed that urine was accumulating inside the abdomen, and the blood reports were also very concerning. We were advised that emergency surgery was required, with an estimated cost of around ₹30,000. Fortunately, we found Dr. Loveleen Vaz, who patiently explained the situation and took up this extremely complicated case. The surgery lasted around 4½ hours, from approximately 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM. During the surgery, multiple ruptures were found in the bladder, and a stent had to be placed. Despite how complicated the situation was, Dr. Loveleen Vaz and her team put in tremendous effort, and thankfully the cat is doing well. What touched us the most was their kindness, patience, dedication and genuine concern for the animal. The total cost was only around ₹2,500 — ₹1,000 for the surgery and approximately ₹1,500 for the medicines. Considering the complexity and duration of the surgery, this was an incredible relief during such a difficult time. Animals cannot tell us what they are going through. They completely depend on doctors to understand their pain and provide the right treatment. Doctors like Dr. Loveleen Vaz, who combine medical expertise with compassion, truly deserve appreciation. Hats off to Dr. Loveleen Vaz and t
There is no professionalism in this hospital, my dog got a tumor on his leg it was small in the beginning but it was visible they said to come when it gets big after 3 months , after the operation the female dr tells us we should have brought the dog when the tumor was small , the staff didn't help me carry my dog to the operation table plus they were very rude , there were no stretchers for dog when asked they said government doesn't give them , the staff treats animals with no emotions they don't even care if your animal is on the stage of dying or not , no staff will even help you carry your pet , my dog was given an injection so he was a sleep and couldn't bite anyone still no one came to pick up my dog to the car my dogs weights is 30+,
