Edit for owner's response: Caliix was not in comatose when I brought him, he just needed fluids. He was recovering very well from jaundice, playing & eating food. When he was lying down, my cat's eyes were open; he was responding to me throughout. He even tried to meow a few times; had you paid attention to his health & vitals, you would know! You & your team failed to respond immediately with sufficient fluids, plus the constant bickering, which my cat did not deserve to hear in that state, specially. You guys did not even let his body get 30 minutes of IV, pulled out & forced us to leave before his body could absorb & stabilize. If your lunch & closing hour were more important than my cat's emergency response, then you should have mentioned that on the phone. I had another emergency case yesterday, & this cat is doing very well due to Petzone's immediate response. So plain & simple, you killed my cat, right in front of my eyes. And I've met many vets over a decade, this woman is not worth being called a vet or a decent human. Dr Astrid Almeida, Mapusa, is an arrogant, weird woman, cannot even call her a doctor. Instead of listening to the case or attending to my cat, who needed an emergency IV supply, she was busy interrogating me, my cat's vet, & arguing with us. We have been going to Dr. Astrid and Dr. Mehr for over 4 years now with our 7 cats and they have always been great. Recently, we had taken Coco, one of our cats (who is blind and deaf) to them. She has not been eating for over a week. They were very quick to identify the issue (she had swallowed some small rubber item) and their prompt response and suggestion for immediate surgery saved our babies life. We are truly grateful to Dr. Astrid and Dr. Mehr.

Dr astrid is just amazing a true god send of me she saved my baby health on the first visit…her team is also super kind n helpful..please anyone looking for the perfect vet please do visit them 100% reliable

I had a very disappointing experience at this clinic. I brought my French Bulldog because she hadn’t eaten for 2 days and was clearly unwell. Unfortunately, the doctor did not properly examine her and showed a very dismissive and rude attitude. Instead of giving any immediate treatment or even basic medication for her gastric issue, I was directly advised to go for a blood test costing ₹4500. This felt unreasonable, especially when the same test is available at other clinics (like Dr. Shaha Pinto in Panjim) for around ₹1500. What was most concerning is that no effort was made to address my dog’s current condition or provide relief. As a pet owner, you expect empathy, proper examination, and guidance — none of which I experienced here. I would not recommend this clinic to other pet owners.

She sees patients as per her convenience, charges them as per her convenience, will look down on you and others, she will judge you as per the dog you have, if you have a high breed dog and you take a scooty to the clinic she literally might insult you, she is never available on calls, never available for strays, always will have a sour face ! Only wants to make money, she will over charge please keep away from this lady, very arrogant and pathetic! her assistant is way better than her, we look for respite and hope and these people they just want to rip you off !
